Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xtreme 125R and Xtreme 160R in the Nepalese market. The Xtreme 160R 4V (Pro) will be available for Rs 3,84,900 and the Xtreme 125R at Rs 2,89,900 for the CBS variant, and Rs 3,11,900 for the ABS variant.
The Xtreme 125R stands out in the 125cc segment with its sharp design, featuring a sleek full-LED projector headlamp, muscular fuel tank, sporty extensions, and a split seat.
Powered by an 11.4 bhp engine, it accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 5.9 seconds while delivering an impressive 66 kmpl mileage, aided by Hero's i3S fuel-saving system. In terms of features, it gets LED lighting, Bluetooth-enabled negative LCD instrumentation, and a sporty muffler.
Built on a lightweight diamond frame, it offers superior handling with a 120/80 rear tyre, 37mm front suspension, and adjustable mono-shock. Safety is ensured by single-channel ABS, a 276mm front disc, and a hazard lamp. The bike is available in three colours - Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, and Stallion Black.
Similarly, the new Hero Xtreme 160R gets features like full-LED lighting and an inverted speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity, a gear position indicator, and call/SMS alerts for a modern, connected riding experience.
Powered by a 163cc 4-valve BS-VI engine, the Xtreme 160R 4V delivers 16.9 Ps at 8500 RPM and 14.6 Nm at 6500 RPM. It accelerates from 0-60 km/h in just 4.41 seconds, making it the fastest in its class. The bike also boasts a 37mm KYB inverted front fork, 7-step adjustable rear suspension, and a lightweight 145 kg frame for superior performance and handling.
Both models will be assembled in Hero MotoCorp's assembly facility in CG Industrial Park in Nawalparasi, along with the Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor+ motorcycles and Xoom 110 scooter.
